What does “one active priority” mean?
Your backlog is unlimited, but we work on one item at a time. We finish or reach the agreed milestone for the current priority before moving to the next, which protects quality and keeps progress visible.
How long does a request take?
It depends on scope, access, integrations and risk. Before work starts, we break the active priority into a reviewable milestone and make the expected delivery path visible. Larger initiatives may be better handled as an AI Project.
Is consulting included?
Yes. The subscription includes process review, opportunity assessment, prioritization and practical technical guidance alongside implementation.
Is ongoing maintenance included?
Yes. While the subscription is active, we maintain and improve the systems delivered through AI Club. Third-party software, infrastructure and usage costs remain separate.
Who owns the code and accounts?
Ownership and access are agreed before work starts. Whenever practical, code, infrastructure and third-party services stay under your company’s control so you are not locked into Tokyo Crew.
How do you handle company data and security?
We use the minimum access needed, prefer company-controlled accounts and define approvals or human review for sensitive steps. Any specific security, retention or compliance requirement must be agreed before the build starts.
Are there setup or onboarding fees?
No. The context review, shared request board, access and examples, first priority, and launch of the first automation or improvement are included in the monthly subscription.
Are APIs and third-party tools included?
No. AI APIs, tokens, third-party tools, messaging providers, hosting and other external services are contracted separately and, whenever possible, stay under your company’s accounts.
Do we need an internal technical team?
No. You do need an internal owner who understands the process, can provide context and examples, and can make decisions. We handle the analysis, building and maintenance.
What happens when a request is too large?
We split it into useful milestones when that makes sense. If it needs dedicated scope, schedule, testing or technical responsibility, we will recommend an AI Project instead of forcing it through the subscription.
