Hey, I'm Ricard

A self-taught developer who started Tokyo Crew while living in Tokyo back in 2019.

The original plan was to build my own SaaS products. Still is, partly, but lately most of my work is AI agents, tools and automations, which is what I’m most excited to build right now.

Two SaaS apps sold, one shut down, and a decent pile that never made it out the door. Much of that journey happened in public, so the wins and dead ends are both on the record.

Which option should I start with?

Start with AI Diagnosis if you’re unsure what is worth improving. Choose AI Club to work with an external AI team without hiring, or an AI Project for one larger, defined initiative.

What does “one priority at a time” mean?

It works like a Kanban board, with one active priority at a time.

Keep as many requests as you like in the backlog.
Add, remove, or reprioritize items at any time, including changing the active priority.
When the active priority is complete or reaches a clear milestone, we move the next item into progress.

How involved does my team need to be?

Your team provides context, examples, access, and timely decisions. Tokyo Crew handles the analysis, build, integrations, and maintenance.

Can I pause my AI Club subscription?

Yes. If your priorities change or you need a break, you can pause your AI Club subscription and resume when you are ready.

What happens during the free 20-minute fit call?

We use the call to understand the problem and decide whether AI Club or an AI Project is a good fit. It is not a free roadmap, audit, or diagnosis.

Are external software and API costs included?

API, hosting, and third-party software costs are separate unless a project scope explicitly includes them. Wherever possible, those services stay in your own accounts.
