Bootstrap Always
Test Quick, Iterate Faster
Remote & Async
We build our own products first, and we also partner with founders when the problem connects with us. If you want an experienced Laravel team to help you ship, let's talk.
Our stack
We build on Laravel and its ecosystem, which lets us move fast, ship early, and confidently scale any type of web application.

I'm Ricard,
founder of TokyoCrew
I’m a self-taught developer who discovered a passion for Laravel. I fell in love with its simplicity, which led me to spend countless nights and weekends building side projects.
Over time, I developed a simple, repeatable system for building SaaS quickly, taking ideas from concept to working software without the usual drama or heavy investment.
That’s how I achieved two successful exits that didn’t make me a millionaire but completely changed my life in many ways.
If you’re working on something interesting and need a helping hand to bring your project to life, let’s connect.
Frequently asked questions
What's a SaaS?
SaaS stands for Software as a Service. It's a business model where software is delivered over the internet through a subscription. Instead of buying and installing software, users access it through their web browser and pay monthly or yearly. Think of tools like Slack, Notion, or Stripe – that's SaaS.
What does bootstrapping mean?
Bootstrapping means building a business using your own money and resources, without external funding from investors. Instead of raising capital, you start small, reinvest your profits, and grow organically. It gives you complete control over your business decisions and timeline, but requires careful resource management and often slower initial growth.
What's an MVP and why do I need one?
MVP stands for Minimum Viable Product. It's the simplest version of your product that still solves the core problem for users. Instead of building everything at once, you start with essential features, get real user feedback, and then decide what to build next. It saves time, money, and reduces risk.
Do you take on client projects?
Sometimes. We're indie developers first – our main focus is bootstrapping our own SaaS products. But we love working with other builders who share our philosophy of testing quickly and iterating faster. If you have an interesting SaaS project that needs Laravel expertise and aligns with our values, we're always open to a conversation.
Why Laravel for SaaS development?
Laravel is perfect for SaaS because it handles common requirements out of the box: user authentication, subscription billing, email systems, background jobs, and database management. With tools like Livewire for real-time interfaces and Alpine.js for lightweight interactions, we can build sophisticated applications quickly without compromising on quality.
